The following peom had been written in 15 minutes ahead of my farewell speech in college..hope u guys like it...nJOI!!
Those were the best days of my life
When I was ragged for the first time
Where I tried approaching a girl to her surprise
And was given zero degree hair as a prize
When I was made to sing along with a barking dog
And had to wear rubber chappals for a year long
Second year followed with more of gut and glory
Coz this time around it was a different story
The year long freshie was now a dude
And this dude now controlled the fresher’s mood
Plenty of proposals were in the air
Only some being given the green signal leaving despair
Third year promised some fireworks
As the seniors demanded extra perks
Studies had surely taken a back seat
As club work and activities were upbeat
Placements were around the corner
One thing at which I didn’t wanna faulter
As I stand here in front of you all
Final year is to what I belong
Raring to move forward and to say aloud
With a job in my hand I made everyone proud!!
